It is quite simply the perfect place to live, work and play. A safe haven of beauty and adventure nestled at six thousand feet in a valley surrounded by mountain peaks reaching heights of over twelve thousand feet.
Several thousand people from all walks of life call the valley home. Some were born here and value the traditions and heritage of their ancestors. Others could live anywhere, but seeking a new way of life, have chosen to make their home in the Lost Rivers Valley.
This secluded valley enjoys mild winters and pleasant summers. Everything here is pristine. The air is clean and the water from the artesian springs surrounding the valley flow with naturally pure and crystal clear water… and there isn’t a traffic light in sight.
For lovers of the outdoors, the Lost Rivers Valley is a sportsman’s paradise. Rivers, streams and alpine lakes are home to five varieties of trout, while antelope, deer, elk and moose graze on the thousands of acres of the Lost Rivers Valley.
While the scenery here is spectacular, more importantly the people of the valley are a special breed. Even newcomers are greeted with a smile and wave from locals as they pass.
Our valley is home to two K-12th grade schools, an award winning hospital, two clinics, three banks, churches of all denominations and a variety of merchants to provide for the needs of its communities.
The people of the Lost Rivers Valley are easy going and cherish their small town values, but still pursue hopes and dreams for a better life in an atmosphere of peaceful security.
